In implementation of the directives and instructions of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Sharkia, on the necessity of permanent and effective communication with citizens and resolving their complaints in all ways, which are received through the unified government complaints system, social media, and WhatsApp, in addition to field follow-up, engaging with citizens, listening to their problems, and working to solve them. In order to preserve the lives of citizens, the director of the electronic portal for the unified government complaints system in Sharkia responded to the complaint received via WhatsApp from the complaints system of the Council of Ministers, in which the residents of the city council housing in Al-Sayadin, Zagazig, are harmed by the lack of lighting in the area, as the lighting lamps are burned out and the road is dark, which causes a lot of damage. It also exposes the people of the area to danger and exposes them to theft. Immediately, the director of the electronic portal contacted the Presidency of the Zagazig 2nd District to quickly resolve the complaint and take the necessary measures. The Presidency of the District, in conjunction with the District Lighting Department, carried out an on-site inspection and examined the electrical connections. Accordingly, the necessary maintenance was carried out and bulbs were installed on the lighting poles in the area. Thus, the causes of the complaint were removed in order to preserve safety, security and lives of citizens. The residents expressed their happiness for the quick and immediate response to solve the problem and thanked the governor of Al-Sharkia and the concerned authorities.
