Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Sharkia, confirmed the continuation of the first phase of the 26th wave of campaigns to remove illegal encroachments on agricultural land and state property within the governorate. This campaign is in implementation of the President's directives to preserve state property, remove encroachments, and enforce the state's authority over its lands. The Governor explained that executive agencies, in coordination with security services, have cut off public utilities to homes illegally constructed on state property.
These campaigns resulted in the removal of six encroachments on an area of 5,036 square meters of buildings, six encroachments on an area of 11 carats, and 8 shares of agricultural land within the governorate.
Governor of Al-Sharkia indicated that the governorate, with all its agencies, will spare no effort in enforcing the law against those encroaching on agricultural land and state property, confronting any attempts at unlicensed random construction, asserting the state's authority, and taking all legal measures to prevent the recurrence of encroachments after their removal.
