Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, congratulated Mr. Karim Mustafa Fouda, Director of the Tekia Development Foundation in Zagazig, registered under No. 3620 of 2020, for the Tekia Charity Kitchen in Zagazig winning first place nationwide in the Ramadan 2025 feeding program. The Tekia Charity Kitchen was honored by His Excellency Professor Dr. Osama El-Azhary, Minister of Endowments, Her Excellency Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, and Her Excellency Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity. The governor also extended his thanks and congratulations to the Sharqia Endowments Directorate for its support, which enabled the foundation to win first place. He praised the important and vital role of the Tekia Foundation for Development in Zagazig and its fruitful cooperation with the Sharqia Endowments Directorate in hosting a Ramadan meal in the courtyard of Al-Fath Mosque in Zagazig throughout the holy month of Ramadan, providing approximately 3,000 iftar meals daily to those fasting. The governor emphasized that the governorate spares no effort in providing all forms of support and assistance, in cooperation with civil society, philanthropists, and NGOs, aiming to alleviate the burden on vulnerable families in the governorate's various villages and centers.
