During the Executive meeting, Eng. Shaima Salah, Director of the Spatial Variables Unit, reviewed the status of the Spatial Variables System in the governorate. She noted that the total number of variables monitored to date has reached 158,158, and the total number of variables responded to has reached 157,016, with an overall implementation rate of 99.3%. The governor emphasized the need to take all legal measures against violators.
Eng. Amira Obaid, Supervisor of Technology Centers, also reviewed the status of requests for data certificates related to the reconciliation law, in accordance with the executive regulations of the law on reconciliation in some building violations and the legalization of their status, issued by Law No. 187 of 2023. She also presented the status of the technology centers, which have completed 1,375,679 reconciliation requests, with an overall implementation rate of 99.52%. The Governor emphasized the need to expedite the completion of building certificates for citizens applying for reconciliation, to facilitate citizens' progress, and complete as many files as possible in the shortest possible time. Brigadier General Mahmoud Metwally, Director of the General Administration of Properties, also reviewed the status of the Property Department at the General Diwan.
It was noted that the governorate has completed the registration of 13,234 contracts across the governorate's various centers and cities, and that contracting for 804 applications is currently underway. This follows the necessary inspections, adjudication, collection of the down payment, and registration on the system in accordance with the procedures in place.
The meeting also reviewed the status of the 25th wave of removals of encroachments on state-owned land, during which 923 violations were removed. The second phase of the 25th wave, which began on February 8, 2025, is currently underway. The governor emphasized the need to deal decisively with this important and vital issue and to apply the law to all.
Eng. Amira El-Shahat, Director of the Advertising Department, reviewed the advertising status during the current month of March. She noted that 604 violating advertisements were removed in coordination with the relevant authorities. This brings the total number of licensed advertisements to 24,721, in accordance with the law, to preserve public funds, and in line with the development and beautification plan taking place in the governorate's cities.
Eng. Weam Abdel Hakim, Director of the Licensing Center for Public Shops, also reviewed the licensing status for the period from December 1, 2022, to March 23, 2025, in each district, city, and neighborhood. She noted that Sharqia Governorate ranked second nationwide for the period from February 23, 2025, to March 23, 2025, and eighth from the date the system began issuing public shop licenses. The governor emphasized the need to expedite efforts on this vital and important issue to preserve public funds and implement the law.
Mr. Mohamed Jawhar, Director of the Budget Department at the General Diwan, reviewed the revenue collection status of city councils to date, including the collection of the general budget and special funds, the targeted monthly collections, the actual collections, and the collection rates. He noted that, according to the Administrative Reservation Unit, all centers have taken all legal measures regarding uncollected amounts. The Governor emphasized the need to activate the role of revenue departments in each center, city, and neighborhood, and to fully commit to collecting all state-related dues and arrears to maximize the governorate's revenues and improve the level of services provided to citizens.
For her part, Ms. Horia Abdullah, Director of the General Administration of Planning and Follow-up at the General Diwan, reviewed the status of implementing the unified plan in the centers, cities and districts, where it was indicated that the total allocations of the investment plan for the fiscal year 2024/2025 AD amounted to 953 million and 480 thousand pounds from the public treasury, in addition to 120 million pounds of self-financing, so that the total investments of the governorate amounted to 1 billion and 073 million and 480 thousand pounds on various programs
