Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, participated in the Council meeting of Zagazig University, chaired by Professor Khaled El-Drandali, President of the University. The meeting began with the approval of the previous University Council meeting report and the follow-up of the implementation of the taken decisions in the previous session. This was followed by a discussion of the Council's agenda, which included topics that are related to the financial affairs, faculty and student affairs, graduate studies and research in order to make the appropriate decisions that serve the public interest.

During the meeting, the Governor extended his congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as well as to the President of Zagazig University, the university's vice presidents, faculty members, staff and students, on the occasion of the approaching Eid al-Fitr, praying Allah to protect Egypt and its people from any harm.
