Title:Supply& Internal Trade Minister and Al Sharkia Governor inaugurate (Welcome Ramadan 2025) Exhibition, 10th of Ramadan City

Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, inaugurated (Welcome Ramadan 2025) Exhibition, which is held by the Board of Trustees of 10th of Ramadan City, in cooperation with the governorate, the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority, the Supply and Internal Trade Directorate, major suppliers, traders and producers of food commodities on an area of 6000 m in front of Sultan Owis School in Block 39 next to the Rehabilitation Center for People with Disabilities and Determination, in line with the state's policy of alleviating the burden and suffering of the common citizen and providing all citizens' needs for food and strategic commodities, Ramadan sweets and Eid al-Fitr supplies at prices lower than the market. Farouk& El-Ashmouny inspected the exhibition pavilions with a total of 123 stalls, which included basic food commodities such as meat, oils, sugar, pasta, flour, plastic and aluminum products, Ramadan sweets and Eid supplies to ensure the availability of all types and ensure their quality and low prices by percentages ranging from 25: 30% compared to their counterparts in the market. The Minister and the Governor praised the cooperation of major traders and company owners, as well as the participation of the Holding Company for Food Industries in holding the exhibition and displaying their products at reduced prices to citizens, stressing the need to continue supplying the exhibition with meat, poultry and food commodities throughout the holy month of Ramadan to ease the burden and suffering of the common citizen. Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, confirmed that the " Welcome Ramadan" exhibitions come within the ministry's efforts to provide all food commodities at reasonable prices, as the exhibitions include basic products such as oil, sugar, pasta, rice and ghee, in addition to dairy, cheese, legumes, fresh and frozen meat, as well as Ramadan sweets and dates, in order to ensure that citizens' needs are met during the holy month. He also explained that the ministry is working to expand the establishment of these exhibitions in all governorates, in cooperation with the chambers of commerce and major producing companies, to ensure the provision of goods in appropriate quantities and prices. The governor appreciated the participation of major traders and exhibitors in the Welcome Ramadan exhibitions held in various centers and cities of the governorate and their quick response to reducing prices and their commitment to the indicative prices set by the governorate, which are 30% lower than external commercial stores, as well as the presence of a veterinary team to ensure the quality of the displayed meat and products provided to citizens.
