Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, stressed to the heads of centers, cities and neighborhoods, in coordination with the utilities police, to continue intensifying daily campaigns to remove encroachments and illegal occupations on the right-of-way of the streets, in addition to reviewing the licenses of commercial stores, stressing that their owners should not be allowed to encroach on the public road, which causes obstruction of traffic and obstruction of the movement of citizens.
Saying: "We will continue to launch daily campaigns until all random violations are finally eliminated."
In implementation of these assignments, Presidency of Zagazig Center and City, headed by Mr. Shaaban Abu Al-Fotouh and Mr. Ahmed Dahi, Head of the First District of Zagazig, launched large-scale campaigns to remove all illegal occupations and encroachments, which included the area of Orabi Square, the station and Al-Bosta Street. Shop owners on Al-Bosta Street were warned to adhere to the authorized places, as well as in front of Omar Effendi.
In a related context, Mr. Mohamed Abu Hashem, Head of the Second District of Zagazig, led extensive campaigns to remove encroachments and street vendors from the streets and public roads, including the Al-Mabarrah area, Al-Ustad Street in the University Corniche, Alqnatr area, and Al-Hamam Street. These campaigns resulted in the removal of all encroachments, chairs, tables, and iron supports, and they were kept in warehouses and the law was applied to violators.
