Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Sharkia, sent a congratulatory telegram to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, on the occasion of the celebration of the anniversary of the Night of Isra and Mi'raj, which read: "I am pleased and honored to extend to Your Excellency, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Sharkia, my sincere greetings coupled with the highest expressions of appreciation on the occasion of the celebration of the anniversary of the Night of Isra and Mi'raj. May God return it to Your Excellency and to the Arab and Islamic nation with goodness, blessings and prosperity.

On this great occasion, we pray to God Almighty to return it to Your Excellency with good health and happiness and to guide you to what is best for our beloved Egypt. May you and the nation be granted a loyal and honest leader to lead the march of democracy and a better life for people of Egypt. May God guide you, protect you and take care of you. We pledge to God and to you to move forward towards achieving prosperity and construction for our new Egypt that we dream of.

Governor of Al-Sharkia also sent similar congratulatory telegrams to Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and His Eminence the Grand Imam Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, Professor Dr. Nazir Ayyad, Grand Mufti of the Republic, and the honorable ministers and governors, praying to God Almighty to protect Egypt and to grant the Egyptian people more security, stability and prosperity.
