In celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the Egyptian Police Day... Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, Major General Amr Raouf, Assistant Minister of Interior, Director of Sharkia Security and Brigadier General Riyad El-Ramah, Military Advisor of the Governorate, laid a wreath on the memorial of the police martyrs at the headquarters of the Security Forces Administration in Zagazig City, in presence of Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Drandali, President of Zagazig University, Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Moaty, Eng. Lobna Abdel-Aziz, Deputies Governor, Major General Abdel Ghaffar El-Deeb, Secretary-General of the governorate, Mr. Mohamed Kajak, Assistant Secretary-General of Governorate, Brigadier General Ahmed Gharib, Commander of Zagazig Recruitment Region and a number of security, police and military leaders.

The Governor of Al-Sharkia praised the epic national heroism presented by the civil police officers side by side with the men of the great Egyptian army in maintaining the security and stability of the country, stressing the great role played by the police officers in protecting the interior security with all sincerity, loyalty and dedication.

Engineer Hazem El Ashmouni, Governor of ِAl-Sharkia, also visited the Police Officers Club in Zagazig to congratulate Major General Amr Raouf, Assistant Minister of Interior and Director of Al-Sharkia Security, on Police Day, which falls on January 25, the anniversary of the brave national stand of the police in Ismailia city in 1952 and their brave confrontation with the British occupation forces in defense of national pride and dignity.
