Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, announced the extension of obtaining ISO9001:2015 certificate for municipal administrative practices, guided by the international standard ISO18091:2019 for developing the quality management system, granted to the General Diwan and Technology Centers in Zagazig, Zagazig First, and Faqous Districts by the Norwegian company NEMCO, which specializes in granting ISO certificates for management systems in the governmental and private sectors. This came during the governorate's celebration after the completion of the review work of all departments of the General Diwan and the technological centers in Zagazig, First District and Faqous, and ensuring the effectiveness of the system's operation and the commitment of employees to applying the required quality standards according to international standards. Al Sharkia Governor expressed his happiness at the extension of the General Diwan of Sharkia Governorate and the technological centers (Zagazig - First District - Faqous) obtaining the ISO9001:2015 certificate for the second time in a row, which came after continuous work and effort by employees and their urgent desire to develop and reach the best administrative level befitting the name of Sharkia Governorate, which was able during the past period to lead the scene at the level of the governorates of the republic in dealing with public files and presidential assignments. The governor thanked the members of the ISO unit, the donor company, and all the parties responsible for implementing the quality system, as well as the team members and the committee supervising the ISO project, and all employees of the General Office and employees of the technology centers in (Zagazig - First District - Faqous) for their continuous efforts and insistence on success, stressing the need to continue work according to the technical specifications of the quality policy and improve the level of performance, which is reflected in the advancement of services provided to the people of the governorate.
