As part of his continuous follow-up of the development and beautification works taking place in the governorate's centers and cities.... Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, inspected the installation of interlocking tiles in the Farouk Street area, which is being implemented on an area of 17,300 m2 and at a cost of 6 million and 400.000 pounds, which comes in line with the development and beautification plan witnessed by the governorate to restore the aesthetic and civilized appearance of its cities. The governor learned from Mr. Ahmed Dahi, Head of the First District, about the nature of the ongoing work, and it was indicated that the work of installing interlocking tiles is being completed in the first phase of Farouk Street in the streets (Saleh Siddiq - Ali Khamis - Al-Shaarawy) and their branches, with a total flat area of 12,900 m2 and at a cost of 4 million and 582 thousand pounds, and preparations are underway to start implementing the work in the second phase to include the streets of El Hanawi area with a total flat area of 4,400 m2 and at a cost of 1 million and 818 thousand pounds. Head of First District added that the work includes installing interlocking 8 cm thick after placing a layer of sand and cutting the verma with a thickness of 15 cm after merging, then a layer of sand with a thickness of 5 cm and establishing rain rooms in order to improve the services provided to citizens in the area and restore its aesthetic and civilized appearance. The governor stressed to the Head of First District to continue following up on the company assigned to implement the work and preparing the appropriate atmosphere in front of it to quickly complete the work according to the specified schedule and improve all services provided to citizens. The residents of the area expressed their happiness at the presence of the governor among them, thanking him and the executive body for the efforts made to improve the level of services provided to them. The governor asked them to maintain the beautification works to ensure their continuity for the longest possible period.
