Infrastructure Information Systems Department at the General Diwan of Sharkia Governorate completed, during 2024, the preparation and delivery of (15195) survey certificates for building permits within the urban area, clarifying the dimensions of the citizens' plot of land, in addition to giving (1012) technical approvals for excavation work and completing (193) tax survey requests, as well as raising (156) plots of state-owned land for the purpose of extracting allocation decisions for the public benefit, in addition to completing the verification of coordinates for (47730) plots of state-owned land for the purpose of legalization and demarcation on a unified information map, and (4) requests for plots of land to determine height restrictions and (2) utility detection projects were completed.
In a related context, Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, stressed the importance of conducting inspections, verifying coordinates, and surveying work on state-owned lands, noting that the current period requires cooperation and permanent coordination between the Infrastructure Information Systems Department and the Spatial Variables Unit to monitor any random construction work as well as encroachments on agricultural lands.
