Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, began his inspection tour by following up on the progress of work at the reception and emergency department at Al-Mabarra Health Insurance Hospital, which provides examination and diagnostic services, then transfer to the appropriate department within the hospital to complete the treatment phase. The governor reassured himself about the health status of a number of patients in the department and asked them about the level of service provided to them, stressing that the health of the citizen is a priority on the executive work agenda and we strive to reach a safe and healthy society that participates in building and developing the nation. During his inspection of the reception department at the hospital, the governor assigned Dr. Hani Gema’a, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, to coordinate with the Director General of the Health Insurance Authority Branch in Sharkia to transfer one of the patients with suspected stroke to the nearest hospital affiliated with the Health Directorate, with a unit to dissolve clots, while following up on the patient's health status and providing all aspects of health and treatment care to him. The governor stressed to the Director General of the Health Insurance Authority branch to install a signboard in the reception department indicating the hospitals that have stroke dissolution units in order to inform citizens visiting the hospital, praising the efforts of the Ministry of Health and Population in providing 10 stroke dissolution units in the hospitals (Zagazig General, Abu Kabir, Al-Saadeen, Belbeis, Awlad Saqr, Kafr Saqr, Hehia, Diarb Negm, Faqous, Al-Husseiniya). The governor also instructed the Director General of the Health Insurance Authority branch to quickly sign a medical examination for a woman suffering from leukemia and complete her procedures as soon as possible and coordinate with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health to provide the necessary treatment if it is not available in the hospital pharmacies. El-Ashmouny also followed up on the progress of work in the kidney dialysis unit, to confirm to the Director of the Hospital Administration to continue to carry out maintenance work on the devices used on a regular basis to preserve the lives of patients and provide them with a distinguished medical and therapeutic service. The governor headed to follow up on the progress of work at Al-Ahrar Teaching Hospital and inspected the reception and emergency department, where he inspected the resuscitation room and the central heart, which includes 3 artificial respirators and 2 electric shock devices. He learned about the mechanism for dealing with medical cases in the department and how to provide first aid and treatment. He also reassured the availability of medicines and medical supplies necessary to provide them with a distinguished treatment service. The governor stressed to the Director of the Hospital Administration to receive patients well and organize the process of entering and exiting patients and their families and direct them to the medical departments in the hospital and provide them with medical and treatment care. The governor was keen to meet a number of hospital workers and learn about their demands, directing the Director of the Hospital Administration to meet them immediately within the available capabilities
