Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, inaugurated the one-day market for selling goods and food items at reduced prices to citizens, held in cooperation between the governorate, Al Sharkia Chamber of Commerce, and the Supply and Internal Trade Directorate in Al Saydeen area next to the Emergency Police Department in Zagazig city.
The governor inspected the exhibition pavilions, which were held with the participation of the General Company for Wholesale Trade, East Delta Mills Company, Damietta and Belqas Mills Company, wholesalers, and companies manufacturing and producing food, dairy, honey, sweets, meat, vegetables, fruits, legumes and oils with discounts of up to 30% throughout the exhibition period to provide the opportunity for the governorate's residents to buy their needs of goods and food items at competitive prices that meet the needs of the public.
El-Ashmouny praised the level of the displayed products and the cooperation of major merchants and company owners in holding the exhibition and their quick response to reducing prices and their commitment to setting a guide price for all displayed products, as well as displaying their products at reduced prices to citizens, stressing the need to continue supplying the exhibition with meat, food commodities, vegetables and fruits to ease the burden and suffering of the common citizen.
Al Sharkia Governor pointed out that the idea of the one-day market is based on increasing the supply of goods and reducing the price, stressing that all executive agencies are working to implement the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and the Prime Minister to ease the burden on citizens and provide goods at reasonable prices and provide them with various possible forms of support.
Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny called on the people of the governorate to go to the market to obtain their needs of goods and food and benefit from the discounts and quality of the displayed products, noting that the exhibition will continue today and tomorrow to provide the opportunity for citizens to buy their various requirements.
