Title:Al Sharkia Governor opens a meat outlet and visits Delta Ginning Factory, Minya Al Qamh

Eng. Hazem El Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, decided to reduce the price of a kilo of fresh local meat from 290 pounds to 270 pounds, as well as fresh lamb from 320 pounds to 270 pounds, as part of the governorate's keenness to combat high prices and facilitate matters for citizens. This came during the opening and inspection of the outlet for selling fresh local meat at reduced prices for citizens, which was established by the Citizens Against High Prices Association in Minya Al Qamh city under the auspices of the Governor of Sharkia and the supervision of the Directorates of Supply and Internal Trade and Veterinary Medicine, to serve the city's residents, stressing that the goal of establishing such outlets is to serve low-income people and ordinary citizens and help them buy their meat needs at reduced prices. The governor of Sharkia praised the societal role of the Citizens Against High Prices Association by establishing outlets to sell fresh local meat at reduced prices and benefit from this noble initiative that aims to ease the burden and suffering of ordinary citizens. El Ashmouny concluded his inspection tour of Minya Al Qamh Center and City with an inspection tour inside the Delta Mit Yezid Ginning Factory to follow up on the progress of work inside the ginning factory, starting from receiving the cotton until it comes out in its final form packed in bales according to international specifications. The governor listened to a detailed presentation from the Director of the Ginning Factory about the nature of work inside the ginning factory, and it was indicated that it is affiliated with the public business sector on an area of 9 acres and includes the sheds, the administrative building and their annexes, and the storage area is 13 acres and it has an internal fire unit affiliated with the Ministry of Interior. The volume of stored cotton from raw is 60,921 quintals and ginned is 23,602 quintals, in addition to 14,592 ardebs of seeds. There are other products called Eskerto with a size of 76 quintals. The governor confirmed that the state pays great attention to promoting the Egyptian cotton system and restoring it to its former glory and regaining its global position through the integrated development of the cotton system in all its agricultural, commercial and industrial axes, in addition to increasing the cultivated areas to meet industrial needs and maximizing the added value of Egyptian cotton at the international level with the aim of reducing the gap between imports and local market requirements and increasing the competitive value of Egyptian products, which will be reflected in improving the level of the Egyptian economy.
