Eng. Hazem El Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, made a surprise visit to the Minya Al Qamh Center to check on the level of services provided to citizens and learn about their needs in nature, as well as follow up on the performance rates and implementation rates of ongoing projects in the educational buildings sector, as well as follow up on the regularity of the school day in the city's schools.
The governor began his tour by inspecting the ongoing construction work at the Egyptian Japanese School, which was built at a cost of 18 million and 584 thousand pounds, to ensure the progress of work, follow up on performance, and ensure adherence to the specified timetable for completing the implementation of the school's work to enter educational service.
The governor inspected the volume of construction work being done to complete the project according to the specified timetable to upgrade the educational system in the Minya Al Qamh Center and City.
Al Sharkia Governor listened to a detailed explanation from Eng. Ahmed Morsi, Director of the Educational Buildings Authority, about the project implementation stages, where it was indicated that the school is built on an area of 1240 m2 out of a total of 4060 m2 and consists of a ground floor and 4 floors and includes 14 classrooms, including 2 kindergarten classrooms, 12 primary classrooms, a doctor's room, a kindergarten supervisor's room, an administration room, networks, an industrial field, art education, a library, knowledge resources, home economics, music education, a theater, and the final finishing works are underway in the school.
The governor stressed to the Director of the Educational Buildings Authority the need to follow up on the companies assigned to implement the construction works of schools in the various villages, centers and cities of the governorate, obligating them to the specified timetable, taking into account the quality of work to complete these works according to the specified timings.
Al Sharkia Governor headed to follow up on the regularity of the school day at Minya Al Qamh Official Language School (Preparatory - Secondary), and to ensure the presence of teachers and workers in the school and to provide good education for our students.
The governor inspected the school classrooms to follow up on the educational process inside the classrooms and reviewed the year's work score record, and listened to the explanation provided by the school teachers to follow up on the students' achievement in the English language subject, and conducted a test for the students on how to write a topic, calling on the school teachers to provide information in a simplified manner and with a comprehensive explanation to achieve responsiveness and communication with the students and benefit from the classes provided to them.
The governor was keen to follow up on the explanation of the Arabic language teachers and conducted a test for the students to find out the extent of their benefit from the study materials provided to them, praising the level of achievement and calling for seriousness and diligence in obtaining lessons and not postponing today's work until tomorrow to be honorable models that we are proud of in society.
The governor also inspected the social specialists' room at the school, stressing the role of the social specialist in achieving students' compatibility with the reality of life and the school environment and developing programs that would develop them socially and behaviorally.
El Ashmouny headed to follow up on the construction work of a new wing at King Fahd Official Language School, which is built on an area of 481 m2 and consists of 29 classrooms to upgrade the educational system and contribute to providing good education for future generations to participate in building and developing society.
The governor stressed the Director General of the Educational Buildings Authority to follow up on the company assigned to implement the work and oblige it to adhere to the specified timetable and engineering specifications to quickly complete all work and benefit from the expansion work at the school to build new classrooms that contribute to eliminating student density and creating a suitable atmosphere for students to acquire knowledge and information.
