Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, surprised Abu Hammad Central Hospital to check on the level of health and treatment services provided to patients and hospital visitors, and to ensure the availability of medical supplies and the presence of doctors and nursing staff in the various medical departments.
The governor's tour of the hospital witnessed an inspection of the reception and dialysis building, which includes the pharmacy, dental, radiology and orthopedics departments, and reassured the provision of medical and treatment services to patients in a good manner, stressing the need to regularize the dates for periodic maintenance of the medical equipment used in the hospital to preserve the lives of citizens.
The governor reviewed the health status record of a number of patients and hospital visitors in the reception department and learned about the procedures followed in dealing with them, stressing the need to provide them with the necessary treatment.
El-Ashmouny inspected the pharmacy in the reception department and asked the pharmacists about the availability of medicines and serums, stressing the need to ensure that they are stored in a safe manner with periodic review of the expiration dates written on them.
Al Sharkia governor personally supervised the provision of primary care for his child, accompanied by her mother, in the reception department and followed up on the necessary medical examinations, stressing the provision of all necessary treatment for her and following up on her health condition, wishing her a speedy recovery.
The governor confirmed that Al Sharkia is keen to provide all means of support to develop the capabilities of hospitals and health units in the centers and cities of Al Sharkia to provide a distinguished treatment service to patients and visitors.
