Title:Al Sharkia Governor inspects the project of sewage treatment plant in Ibrash, Mashtoul Al-Souq

Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, confirmed that the state pays great attention to implementing development and service projects, especially drinking water and sewage projects, and the governorate is striving to provide the necessary financial appropriations to establish new water stations and sewage lifts that contribute strengthening the infrastructure and achieving sustainable development in line with Egypt's vision 2030. This came during his inspection of the project to establish a sewage treatment plant in the village of Ibrash, of Mashtoul Al-Souq, which is scheduled to operate at a capacity of 10/20 thousand m3/day and at a cost of 200 million pounds to provide a safe and sound sewage project for 60 thousand people from the village of (Ibrash- Kafr Ibrash- Nabtit). Eng. Eman Mohamed Refaat, Head of the Executive Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation Projects at the National Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Sharkia, gave a detailed explanation to the Governor of Sharkia about the components of the project. It was noted that the project consists of the entrance, filters, sand deposit, equalization tank, ventilation basins, final sedimentation basins, chlorine contact basins, sludge drying basins, sludge concentration basin, administrative building, laboratory, generator building, chlorine building, chlorine cylinder storage, electrical transformer building, low voltage, cable ducts, active sludge pit, clarification pit, oil pit, and Nawaf building, in addition to the repair workshop and laboratory. The total implementation rate of the project reached 80%. The governor stressed the head of the Mashtool Al-Souq Center and City, in coordination with the head of the Executive Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation Projects at the National Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Sharkia, to follow up on the companies implementing the works and oblige them to implement the technical specifications and the specified timetable to quickly complete the works and put the project into service to benefit citizens.
