Title:At a cost of 200 million pounds... Al-Sharkia Governor inspects the paving and double works on Abu Hakim/ Meet Abu Ali/ Tahla Bardeen/ Beni Saleh/ Beni Hilal roads.

Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Al-Sharkia Governor, inspected the ongoing paving, expansion, and duplication work on Abu Hakim/Mit Abu Ali/Tahlet Bardin/Bani Saleh road, with a length of 22 km and a total cost of 200 million pounds, which represents a traffic axis linking Zagazig to the cities of Belbeis, 10th of Ramadan, and Minya al-Qamh, all the way to the regional road, contributes reducing crowding inside Zagazig. Eng. Ahmed Fawzi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Roads and Transport, provided a detailed explanation to the governor about the nature of the ongoing work on the road. It was noted that the work of doubling and widening the road, with a length of 4.5 km and an average width of one direction of 10-12 metres, had been completed, as well as the construction of a service road in front of the residential blocks with an average width of 6 m, in addition to cover a distance of 1 km in Tahlet Burdin suburb with 2 meter diameter pipes, and the work of duplicating and paving the remaining 2 km of the road is being completed at a total cost of 80 million pounds. The governor stressed the speedy completion of the necessary coverage procedures for the 2-km-long Naamna drain in front of the village of Bani Hilal, in order to complete the ongoing work of duplicating the road and linking it to the regional road, to contribute relieving traffic congestion within the city .The governor explained that the new traffic axis contributes to reducing traffic density on the Zagazig/Belbeis/10th road and works to save time and effort for workers to reach their factories in the 10th of Ramadan city. It Zagazig to the regional road and works to facilitate traffic up to Deir Najm and all the way to the eastern Delta governorates.
