Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, sent a congratulatory telegram to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, on the occasion of the celebration of fifty-first anniversary of the glorious October War victories, which stated, "It's of my pleasure to send to Your Excellency the highest congratulations on the occasion of the anniversary of the glorious October 6 victories, in which the great anniversary comes to immortalize the victories of the Egyptian will and its adherence to free every inch of its beloved land."

On this glorious occasion, I am pleased to present to Your Excellency my sincere thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the valiant armed forces in offering everything precious and valuable in sacrifice for the homeland in order to preserve the unity and integrity of its lands, asking God Almighty to return this immortal memory to Your Excellency with good health and continued success and to our beloved Egypt with goodness, security and peace.

The Governor of Al-Sharkia also sent similar congratulatory telegrams to Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, General Abdel Majeed Saqr, General Commander of Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, General Ahmed Khalifa, Head of Armed Forces Staff and the leaders of the main branches of the Armed Forces.
