Title:Al Sharkia Governor chairs the meeting of the Board of Directors of Industrial Zones

Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Al-Sharkia, confirmed that the governorate seeks to create the appropriate atmosphere to create an attractive and strong investment climate and present investment opportunities available to investors, praising the distinguished level of Egyptian industry and the skilled workforce, which, if given the opportunity, offers its best and helps in increasing production and improving the level of industry which reflects on the Egyptian economy.

This came while he chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Industrial Zones to discuss requests submitted by investors to advance investment and improve the work environment in a way that will reflect on the advancement of the Egyptian economy, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Moati and Engineer Lubna Abdel Aziz, the two deputy governors, Engineer Mohamed Al-Safi, the governor’s secretary-general, and engineer Sami Mojil, Assistant of secretary general to the Governorate, Major General Al-Saeed Abdel Muti, Advisor to the Governor for Projects, Advisor Zakaria Al-Shafi’i, Legal Advisor to the Governorate, Brigadier General Muhammad Mahfouz Al-Najjar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing, Dr. Jalal Abdel Karim, Head of the Center and City of Belbeis, Engineer Abdullah Al-Ghazali, President of the Investors Association in the Industrial Zone in Belbeis, and Mr. Mukhtar Abdullah, Vice President of the Investors Association in the Industrial Zone In Al-Zawamil, Dr. Muhammad Al-Harawi, Director of the Governorate’s Investment Department, Mr. Hani Al-Sayed, Director of the Legal Affairs Department at the General Diwan, and officials from the electricity, drinking water and sanitation sectors, the General Authority for Investment, and the Industrial Development Authority.

The meeting began by discussing a number of requests submitted by investors regarding transferring the plots allocated to them to others and changing the activity with a commitment to pay the prescribed fees, as well as approving the annexation of the plots and replacing them with other parts and adding a manufacturing activity to take what is necessary in accordance with the law and the public interest while committing to apply civil protection requirements in order to preserve Lives and property.

During the meeting, the head of the Investors Association in the Belbeis Industrial Zone called for the operation of the health unit building and ambulance service in the area.

The governor assigned the director of the investment department in the governorate, in coordination with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, to inspect the health unit building in the services complex in Belbeis Industrial Zone and determine its compliance with all health requirements necessary for operation and prepare a report to be presented to the governor for action What is needed for the building to serve workers and visitors to the industrial zone in Belbeis.

The head of the Investors Association in Al- Zawamil Industrial Zone also reviewed the demands of investors in the region, which include establishing a hospital to serve workers and investors in the region, as well as expanding the road leading to the region to accommodate a larger number of cars, to direct the governor to quickly coordinate with the concerned authorities and provide the best services to investors and workers in the region to push the wheel of production and improve the level of the Egyptian economy.

The governor assigned Dr. Jalal Abdel Karim, head of the center and city of Belbeis, to coordinate with the electricity sectors to quickly complete the increase in lighting efficiency in the industrial zone in Belbeis, stressing that investment projects require sound infrastructure and the provision of facilities such as drinking water, sanitation, and electricity, in order to pump more investments to contribute to advancing production.
