Title:At an initial cost of 80 million pounds... Al Sharkia Governor follows up on the construction work of the integrated Qurein water station

In continuation of his inspection tour to follow up on the implementation rates of a number of ongoing service and development projects in the city of Qurein, Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, headed to inspect the construction work of the integrated Qurein water station with the ultrafiltration membrane system (UF) and built on an area of 5 acres with a design capacity of 10 thousand m3/day and at an initial cost of 80 million pounds to contribute providing a clean cup of water for the city's residents. The governor inspected the ultrafiltration containers and learned from Eng. Iman M. Refaat, head of the National Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Sharkia, about the components of the station. It was noted that the station is scheduled to operate with a production capacity of 10,000 m3/day and consists of intakes, turbid water pumps, ultrafiltration containers, filtered water tanks, filtered water pumps, a chlorine injection system, transformers, electrical panels, and a backup generation unit. The governor assigned the head of the executive body for drinking water and sanitation projects in Sharkia, in coordination with the head of the drinking water and sanitation company, to follow up on all drinking water and sanitation projects being implemented within the governorate and to remove all obstacles facing the work and to apply the standard specifications and timetables. on the other side, thegovernor learned from Mr. Khaled Abdel Majeed, Director of the Solid Waste Department , about the components of the wast collection station. It was noted that 90% of the construction work has been completed and that the procedures for supplying the necessary equipment to operate the station and put it into service are being completed to contribute upgrading the cleanliness system in the governorate. The governor assigned Assistant Secretary-General to communicate with Director of the Solid Waste Unit at the Ministry of Local Development, to quickly complete all work at the station to operate it in the sound and environmentally safe disposal of the waste problem, which is one of the most important files that the governorate pays great attention to
