In continuation of his inspection visit to Awlad Saqr city and his concern to pay attention to the advancement of the health sector... Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, made an inspection visit to Awlad Saqr Central Hospital to follow up on the regularity of work and to monitor the level of health and treatment services which are provided to the patients, in presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Moati and Eng. Lobna Abdel-Aziz, Deputies Governor, Mr. Mohamed Kajak, Assistant Secretary-General, Dr. Hani Jamea, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Mr. Mohamed El-Sawah, Head of Awlad Saqr center and a number of members of Parliament.
The governor began his tour by inspecting the reception and emergency department, which includes 14 beds to provide primary medical services to the injured. The governor was also keen to inspect the hospital's medical laboratories and the radiology department, which includes a CT scan machine, which is one of the most important units that provide diagnostic services to the various medical departments.
During his inspection of the animal bite room, the governor was assured of the availability of the vaccines, as he stressed to the hospital's manager to receive the patients kindly and provide them with the best medical and therapeutic services.
Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Mutawali, manager of the Hospital Administration, provided the governor with a detailed explanation of the hospital's components. It was noted that the hospital is built on an area of 7,200 meters and consists of 3 floors. The hospital also includes a kidney dialysis department, which contains 35 kidney dialysis machines with a capacity of 140 patients and 13 outpatient clinics that operate daily until 7 pm, in order to provide a distinguished health and therapeutic service to the patients and the visitors of the hospital.
