Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, confirmed that the governorate is striving to provide the best services to citizens and facilitate them to obtain all daily services easily and conveniently by expanding the establishment of service complexes in various centers, cities and neighborhoods with the aim of raising the level of services provided to them, especially the elderly, and saving time and effort.
This came during his inspection of the ongoing construction work in the new Kafr Saqr City Presidency Building and the City Services Complex, which is built on an area of 1000 m and at a cost of 22 million pounds, with the aim of combining government interests and offices in one place to save time and effort for citizens to complete their interests without bearing the hardship and burden of moving from one place to another to obtain the service.
The governor learned from Mr. Sobhi El-Hadi, head of Kafr Saqr Center and City, about the components of the complex. It was pointed out that the government services complex is built on an area of 1000 meters and consists of 5 floors to provide all government services to the people of the city and its affiliated villages, with the knowledge of the Housing Directorate in Al Sharkia, at a total cost of 22 million pounds.
The governor himself reviewed the finishing works in progress in the complex to ensure that the implementing company is committed to applying the specified technical specifications. The governor expressed his dissatisfaction with the delay in implementing the works and the failure to apply the standard specifications in the work and decided to refer the engineer responsible for implementing the project and the engineering supervisors to investigation by the legal affairs of the governorate and take all legal measures against them, saying, "I will not allow any negligence or laxity in implementing any service and development projects that affect citizens, and we are working hard to provide them with the best services."
The governor assigned his deputy, Eng. Lubna Abdel Aziz, to list all completed and remaining works in the project and prepare a report to present to the governor to take the necessary measures that contribute to accelerating the pace of implementing the works and completing the project and entering service to benefit citizens.
The governor also stressed the head of Kafr Saqr Center and City, in coordination with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing, to follow up on the company assigned to implement the works and remove all obstacles to completing the project and finishing it according to the specified timetable and benefiting from the complex in improving the level of services provided to the people of the center.
