Title:Education Minister & Al-Sharkia Governor inspect "Martyr Colonel Pilot Hesham Hosni Bayoumi" & "Zagazig Girls Secondary School"

Within the framework of the visit to Al-Sharkia Governorate, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, made an inspection tour today to "Martyr Colonel Pilot Hisham Hosni Bayomi" School which is affiliated to West Zagazig Education Administration, and "Zagazig Girls Secondary School" which is affiliated to East Zagazig Administration in presence of Dr. Ayman Bahaa El-Din, Deputy Minister, Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Moaty and Eng. Lobna Abdel Aziz, Deputies Governor, Major General Yosry El-Deeb, Head of the General Authority for Educational Buildings, Major General Abdel Ghaffar El-Deeb, Secretary-General of the Governorate, Mr. Mohamed Kajak, Assistant Secretary-General, leaders of the Ministry and and Mr. Ali Abdel-Raouf, manager of the Directorate of Education in Al-Sharkia.

At the beginning of their tour, the Minister and the Governor visited the "Martyr Colonel Pilot Hisham Hosni Bayomi" School which is affiliated to West Zagazig Education Administration, which includes 3,500 students, and inspected the kindergarten classes, science labs, as well as the computer lab and Manahil Al-Ma'rifa room.

During the visit to the school, the Minister and the Governor were keen to meet with the school's teachers to listen to their opinions on the new executive procedures to address the students' densities, fill the shortage in the number of teachers and restructure the secondary education.

The Minister and the Governor headed to inspect "Zagazig Girls Secondary School" which is affiliated to East Zagazig Education Administration, where the total number of students is 1,550 students, where the Minister and the Governor inspected the biology lab and the computer lab and they also saw artistic exhibits by the students, which the Minister praised and encouraged them to continue developing their talent.

The Minister was also keen to hold a meeting with the school's teachers to listen to their opinions on ways of activating the activities and attract the students to the school, in addition to the teachers' opinions on the number of classes and their suggestions to improve the educational process, stressing that the Ministry seeks to provide the utmost possible to teachers in appreciation of their efforts and position.

The Minister also discussed with the teachers the importance of restructuring the secondary education, which allows sufficient time to teach the curriculum, helps students acquire life skills and prepares them for the labor market, as he noted out that the study materials for the best education systems in the world do not exceed 8 subjects per academic year.

From their side, the teachers stressed the importance of providing a stimulating and supportive educational environment for the students, indicating that these steps will contribute in raising the level of education and achieving the desired goals.
