Eng. Hazem Al-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, confirmed the continuation of the implementation of the second phase of the 23rd wave to remove illegal encroachments on agricultural lands and state property within the governorate, in implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic to preserve state property, remove encroachments, and impose the state's prestige on its lands.
The governor declared that the executive agencies, in coordination with the security services, cut off public utilities from houses built in violation of state property and implemented the immediate removal of 13 cases of encroachment with an area of 1206 m2 of buildings and 12 cases of encroachment on an area of 3 acres and 24 carats on agricultural lands within the governorate.
Al-Ashmouny pointed out that the governorate, with all its agencies, will spare no effort in applying the law to those who encroach on agricultural lands and state property, confronting any attempt at random construction without a license, imposing the state’s prestige, and taking all legal measures to prevent the encroachments from returning again after their removal.
