Title:Al-Sharkia Governor visits the industrial zone in Al-Zawamil

Eng. Hazem Al-Ashmouny, Al-Sharkia Governor, made an inspection visit to Al-Zawamil Industrial Area (Basateen Al-Ismailia) to determine the region’s needs for services and facilities, learn about investors’ requirements, and remove all obstacles that prevent the industrial boom in the region. The governor began his inspection visit by following up on the work progress of the Abaza Company for Trailers and Means of Transport, which operates with a capital of 100 million pounds and includes 800 workers to manufacture trailers, flatbed semi-trailers, tippers of all types and their loads, tipper boxes and trailer supplies, as well as manufacturing and assembling buses, microbuses, minibuses of all types and capacities, and light and medium-duty transport vehicles. 70% of the company's production is exported abroad and 30% is put on the local market. The governor praised the volume of production and its quality, which is comparable to international products, as well as the workers trained at the highest level and their commitment to implementing safety, occupational health and safety procedures, in addition to their role in advancing the construction and production process. Al-Ashmouny confirmed that his visit today to the industrial zone in Al-Zawamil (Basateen Al-Ismailia) comes within the framework of the state’s keenness to encourage businessmen, attract investors, maximize Egyptian industry, reduce dependence on imports, create an attractive climate for more investments, and provide job opportunities for hardworking youth who desire a decent life. The governor went to visit Al-Andalus Company for Manufacturing Cardboard Containers and Printing, and listened to a detailed explanation from Mr. Imad El-Din Ahmed Abdel-Al, Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, about the nature of the company’s work. It was noted that the company operates with a capital of 90 million pounds and includes 400 male and female workers, including management, technicians and workers. It produces cardboard packages and their various types of printing, and its products are exported to countries (Saudi Arabia - Libya - Lebanon - the United Arab Emirates). The governor was also keen to follow up on the progress of work at the Jebel Ali Chem Company for the manufacture of chemical materials, which is established on an area of 3,100 m2 and operates with a capital of 40 million pounds, with a production capacity of 37.000 tons annually, and employs more than 100 workers. A new branch of the company is being established on an area of 8,000 m2 in New October City. Production capacity of 70 thousand tons annually. The governor learned from Eng. Ayman Ali Abdel Halim, Chairman of the Board of Directors, about the nature of the company’s products. It was pointed out that the company is based on producing materials used in the fields of petroleum, fertilizers and paints with the aim of filling the import gap for all of the company’s products and that it exports its products to Spain. At the end of the tour, the governor ordered the deputy head of the center and city of Belbeis to examine the applications submitted by some investors to rectify their situations, reconcile some building violations, and remove all obstacles facing them in accordance with the law, in order to complete their projects to pump new investments that contribute increasing the national income and providing job opportunities for young people. Eng. Hazem Al-Ashmouny confirmed that the Egyptian state is in the process of building, constructing and completing many giant national projects in all fields that contribute improving the quality of life of citizens. He stressed that the state pays great attention to the investment sector and seeks to create the appropriate atmosphere for investors to establish real projects that contribute to creating job opportunities for young people to live their lives.
