Eng. Hazem Al-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, confirmed that the Egyptian state during the current period is witnessing a real boom and a clear interest from President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, in developing and supporting the national industry and providing the opportunity for economic entities to expand in establishing more investments and the state is striving to remove all obstacles that prevent achieving the Industrial boom by enabling the private sector to expand its investments to achieve self-sufficiency and create real job opportunities for youth.
This came during the meeting held by the governor at the headquarters of Abaza Trailers and Transportation Company in the industrial zone in Al-Zawamil (Basateen Al-Ismailia) to determine the needs of investors in the region, remove all obstacles facing them, and find urgent solutions to them in a way that ensures the continued rotation of the wheel of production, attracting more investments, and achieving self-sufficiency.
The governor began the meeting by emphasizing that his visit today to the industrial zone in Zawamil comes within the framework of implementing the mandates of the government’s political leadership to overcome any obstacles or problems facing investors and solve their problems to increase the pumping of their investments, especially in light of the measures taken by the Egyptian state during the past period to improve the investment environment and facilitate and simplify procedures to attract foreign and Arab investments.
During the meeting, Engineer Khaled Abaza, Chairman of the Investors Association in the Zawamil Industrial Zone, reviewed a number of investor requests, including the need for the electricity company to inform investors of the dates of cutting off the electrical current during maintenance work, while assigning a technician to be present in the industrial zone to repair any sudden malfunctions, as well as operating a larger number of artesian water wells. In the region to ensure good access of water to all factories in the region.
The governor directed the head of the drinking water and sanitation company to quickly complete the necessary maintenance work for the water networks in the region and to facilitate procedures for serious investors who wish to subscribe to the water utility service, while preparing the necessary studies to establish a water station to feed the region next to the artesian wells.
The governor also assigned the head of the South Sharkia Electricity Sectors to form joint committees with the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company and the Investors Association to identify the needs of investors regarding the electricity and water facilities and present them to the governor to take the necessary measures regarding them that contribute to remove all obstacles for investors to obtain the investment opportunities available to establish their projects.
In addition, a technician was assigned to be constantly present in the area to repair any sudden malfunctions.

Salah Barakat, Head of the South Sharkia Electricity Sector, Dr. Jalal Abdel Karim, Head of Belbeis Center and City, Dr. Mohamed Al-Hrawi, Director of the Governorate’s Investment Department, and a number of investors.
