Eng. Hazem Al-Ashmouny, Al-Sharkia Governor, announced the implementation of 19,257 projects within Your project Program initiative at a cost of 3 billion, 246 million and 591 thousand pounds, and the provision of 56,360 job opportunities for youth since the launch of the initiative in 2015 until July 20, 2024 AD. The governor stressed the need to encourage young people to establish many projects and promote the culture of self-employment, as these projects contribute to raising the standard of living of citizens and reducing unemployment, in addition to emphasize the state’s efforts towards industrialization and production. Mr. Al-Arabi Al-Shabrawi, director of “Your project” in the governorate, explained that the most important projects that were implemented are (ceramic, furniture, feed factory, organic fertilizer factory, clothing factory, electrical industries, medical supplies, rice packing factory, livestock barn, grain trade, …and others) Your project manager added that the Deirb Najm Center came in first place... with the total number of approved projects reaching 2,632 projects worth 394 million and 473 thousand and 416 pounds. Al-Ashmouny directed the executive leaders to facilitate the procedures for granting loans and making it easier for applicants to obtain them in order to provide job opportunities for young people and advance development in the governorate.
