Al-Sharqia Governor Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny received Major General Khaled Mostafa Tawfik, President of the Arab Federation of Veterans and War Victims, to discuss enhancing cooperation and providing additional services and benefits for veterans and martyrs’ families, as part of the 53rd anniversary of the October Victories.

The meeting explored cooperation protocols with hospitals, pharmacies, and medical laboratories; participation in governorate events honoring veterans and martyrs’ families; free training programs to support employment; and discounts at archaeological and heritage sites, including Tell Basta and San El-Hagar.

The Governor reaffirmed the Governorate’s commitment to supporting veterans and martyrs’ families in recognition of their national sacrifices. The meeting concluded with an exchange of commemorative shields in appreciation of both sides’ efforts.
