Al-Sharkia Governor Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouni participated in the 11th Global Conference of Egypt’s Dar Al-Ifta, held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and chaired by Grand Mufti of Egypt Dr. Nazir Ayyad, under the theme “Family Challenges Amid Major Transformations: A Fatwa-Based Approach to Protecting the Family, Safeguarding Identity, and Shaping Its Future.”

The conference, held on September 2–3, brings together participants from more than 80 countries, including senior religious scholars, ministers, and governors.

The Governor praised Dar Al-Ifta’s role in promoting moderation, combating extremism, providing reliable religious guidance, and strengthening family and community stability. He also highlighted the conference’s focus on addressing the digital, intellectual, and economic challenges facing families and developing practical solutions to protect family stability and identity.
