The Governorate continues to review and inspect applications, verify compliance with legal requirements, complete the legalization procedures, collect state dues, and deliver contracts to eligible applicants.
The executive authorities are also continuing to enforce the law and recover state property while facilitating procedures for serious applicants to legalize their status and achieve social stability.
The Cabinet has issued the executive regulations of Law No. 168 of 2025, setting out the conditions and procedures for legalization and allowing applications to be submitted for six months. Previously submitted applications under Law No. 144 of 2017 will also be processed under the new law, while preserving citizens’ rights and previously paid fees.
