Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, announced the completion of construction, maintenance, and upgrades to 165 schools, comprising a total of 2,926 classrooms, at a cost of 1.727 billion Egyptian pounds, as part of the 2025/2026 fiscal year plan. This is in preparation for the new academic year and aims to provide a safe and suitable learning environment for students.
Key Preparations for the New Academic Year:
• Construction of 78 schools with a total of 1,280 classrooms, at a cost of 1.427 billion Egyptian pounds.
• Maintenance and upgrades to 87 schools with a total of 1,646 classrooms, at a total cost of 299.9 million Egyptian pounds.
• Opening of 30 new schools with a total of 1,907 classrooms, across various districts and cities of the governorate.
