Engineer Hazem Al-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, chaired a meeting of the two committees for testing the occupancy of a number of leadership positions within the governorate by conducting tests for the applicants for the positions of “General Manager of the General Administration for Urban Planning and General Manager of the General Administration for Production and Economic Affairs,” as well as selecting the Secretary of Zagazig City Council, in accordance with the standards of competence which is capable of developing the work system, within the framework of the administrative reform policy adopted by the state, in order to raise the level of executive performance within the service sectors.
The governor explained that the selection criteria included a presentation of each applicant's achievements during their tenure, along with an assessment of their leadership, technical and personal skills. The criteria also discussed their vision for developing the work system and their ability to manage critical files and address the real challenges.
During the committee meeting, the governor posed several questions to the applicants, focusing on mechanisms for developing internal resources and future plans for improving the performance within each sector. This was done to gather their insights and ideas for enhancing the level of services which are provided to the citizens.
