Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, accompanied by Major General Staff Nabil El-Sayed Hassaballah, Governor of Ismailia, visited Al-Qassassin Central Hospital to check on the health condition of those injured in a collision involving two workers’ transport vehicles on the Dawawis Road in Al-Qassassin, Ismailia Governorate.

The visit also aimed to follow up on-site on the procedures for transferring and handing over the bodies of the deceased Sharqia residents to their families, in preparation for their funerals and burial in their hometowns.

The visit was attended by Dr. Ahmed El-Beily, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Sharqia; Dr. Reem Mostafa Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Population in Ismailia; Accountant Mohamed El-Abasyry, Head of Abu Hammad City and Center; Engineer Sami Moagel, Head of Al-Husseiniya City and Center; Mr. Ehab Khater, Head of Al-Qarin City; and the Director of Al-Qassassin Central Hospital.

Al-Sharkia Governor spoke directly with the injured to check on their health and listen to their needs.

He also received updates from the health undersecretaries of Sharqia and Ismailia and the hospital director regarding the injured, stressing the need to provide them with all necessary medical care and treatment and to continue their medical follow-up until they fully recover.

The Governor directed that the necessary procedures for transferring and handing over the bodies of the deceased to their families be completed promptly, while providing all possible support and assistance to the victims’ families during this difficult time.
