Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, affirmed that knowledge is the golden gateway to a more advanced future and that investing in the minds of children and youth is the greatest gift the governorate can offer to the future generations. He emphasized his commitment to support the initiatives that arise the passion for reading and open horizons of creativity for young people.
In this context, Engineer Lubna Abdel Aziz, Deputy Governor, mentioned that the governorate is continuing in supporting the cultural and educational activities implemented by Egypt Public Library, considering it a beacon of awareness and cultural dissemination, as she indicated that all means of support will continue to be provided to ensure that its services are reaching the largest possible number of citizens, in order to build a conscious and enlightened generation that contributes in the nation's progress.
Six seminars were organized, covering topics such as: a lecture by Khodair El-Borsaidi School of Arabic Calligraphy and Ornamentation; World Population Day; acceptance of others and respect of diversity; raising children with enlightened thinking.
