Engineer Hazem Al-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, issued Decree No. (1271) of 2026, reorganizing the work of several heads of districts, cities, and neighborhoods within the governorate (on a temporary basis) until the positions are filled through legal channels. This is part of an effort to enhance the efficiency of executive performance and ensure the smooth operation and continuity of services provided to citizens. The decree was issued during a meeting with several heads of districts, cities, and neighborhoods, in the presence of Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Moaty, Deputy Governor; Major General Abdel-Ghaffar El-Deeb, Secretary-General of the Governorate; and Mr. Mohamed Batisha, Assistant Secretary-General, at his office in the General Diwan. The decree included a redistribution of responsibilities and work assignments.
