Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, witnessed the activities of the comprehensive free specialized medical convoy in Abu Kabir, held at the Abu Kabir Youth Center, in cooperation with the Egyptian Healing Bank Foundation, Also present were Dr. Naglaa Abdel Moneim, Head of the Supreme Medical and Appeals Committee at the Cabinet; Dr. Mohamed Mostafa Ismail, member of the Supreme Medical and Appeals Committee at the Cabinet and General Coordinator of Medical Convoys and Civil Society at the Cabinet; Mr. Mohamed Farghali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Healing Bank Foundation; Dr. Ahmed El-Baily, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Sharqia; Dr. Mona Othman, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Sharqia; and Mr. El-Sayed Abdel Razek, Head of Abu Kabir City Council.

The governor inspected the various sections of the medical convoy and listened to a detailed explanation from the general coordinator of medical convoys and civil society at the Cabinet regarding the medical services provided. The coordinator explained that the convoy included important medical specialties such as internal medicine, orthopedics, pediatrics, dermatology, and ear, nose, and throat (ENT), all offered completely free of charge. He noted that the convoy would continue operating throughout the day until the following day to provide medical and therapeutic services to the largest possible number of beneficiaries from the district and surrounding areas.

The governor engaged in direct dialogue with the medical staff, inquiring about the number of patients who had visited the convoy since the morning and the medical services provided. He also ensured the availability of necessary medications for the patients.

Furthermore, the governor met with citizens visiting the convoy to assess the quality of the medical services provided, listened to their requests and concerns, and directed the head of Abu Kabir district to investigate these issues and work towards resolving them within the available resources.
