Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharqia, witnessed the activities of the free specialized medical caravan for people with disabilities, in cooperation with Misr El-Kheir Foundation and funded by Banque Misr, held at the International Club in Abu Kabir.

The Governor inspected the various sections of the medical caravan and listened to a detailed explanation from the Director of Medical Caravans at Misr El-Kheir Foundation in Al-Sharqia about the medical services provided, The Director explained that the caravan includes 14 important medical specialties, including internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, vascular surgery, pediatrics, nutrition, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology, prosthetics, and a pharmacy dispensing free medication to those visiting the caravan. Cases requiring surgery are referred to hospitals, also completely free of charge.

The caravan will continue throughout the day until tomorrow to provide medical and treatment services to the largest possible number of beneficiaries from the center and surrounding areas.

The caravan aims to provide medical services to approximately 400 people with disabilities from the center and surrounding areas.

The governor held a direct dialogue with the medical teams, inquiring about the number of cases that visited the convoy since the morning and the medical services provided to them, and he was reassured about the availability of the necessary treatment for the patients.
