Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouni Governor of Al-Sharkia announced the upgrading of the infrastructure with drainage systems and vehicles for pumping and removing rainwater from the governorate's streets and tunnels, at a total cost of 73 million Egyptian pounds. This comes within the framework of the governorate's plan to improve infrastructure efficiency and enhance the readiness of executive bodies to deal with rainwater, which will contribute to reducing water accumulation, achieving smooth traffic flow, and preserving the safety of citizens.
