According to the directives of Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, to the heads of centers, cities and districts, to intensify the tree planting and beautification efforts and increase the green spaces in all cities and villages to improve the environment and urban landscape.

The executive bodies launched, throughout the day, extensive on-site campaigns across the governorate's centers, cities and districts to enhance the horticulture sector.

The campaigns helped in expanding the green spaces in the main streets and squares, including:

·         Planting trees and ornamental plants at city entrances and along the traffic axes to provide a healthy and safe environment for citizens.

·         Implement regular irrigation to maintain the vitality and freshness of the existing trees and green spaces.

·         Carrying out pruning and trimming of trees to ensure the stability of public facilities and the safety of citizens.
