Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, affirmed the continuation of the intensified inspection and monitoring campaigns on food establishments across the governorate's various centers and cities. These campaigns aim to ensure the safety of the markets' food products and their compliance with the approved standards and regulations, in order to preserve the public health and safety.

The Key findings from the inspection campaign conducted by the Al-Sharkia branch of the National Food Safety Authority at one of the fish factory in El-Husayniyah center:

·         Detect 750 kg of table salt unfit for human consumption.

·         Issuance report due to lack of food safety requirements for the establishment.

·         Taking the necessary legal procedures regarding the violations.
