Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia held an extensive meeting to follow up on the latest developments regarding the regularization of the state-owned lands, review performance rates and discuss the ways to expedite the examination and inspection of the regularization applications which are submitted by citizens. This is in preparation for deciding on these applications and finalizing the contracts in accordance with the law, ensuring the regularization of land ownership and bringing these lands under the state control. The meeting was attended by Major General Abdel Ghaffar El-Deeb, Secretary-General of the Governorate; Engineer Emad Ganjan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture; Major General Ahmed Shaker, Head of Belbeis City and Brigadier General Mahmoud Metwally, Director of the General Administration of  the  State Property Protection in his office at General Diwan.

The Governor stressed the necessity of removing any illegal construction on the state-owned lands immediately and taking the legal actions against those who are not serious about the process.

The governor directed about achieving the full coordination between all the concerned parties to expedite the surveying work and verify the coordinates according to the specified timetables, in order to ensure the accuracy of the data and achieve the targets efficiently. He stressed that the governorate provides all the aspects of support and facilities to the serious citizens, within a balanced vision that takes into account the social dimension in addition to the application of the law, in a way that achieves the legal stability for them.
