Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, participated in the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Higher Technological Institute in 10th of Ramadan City and its branch. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Abdel-Qader Abdel-Karim Ibrahim, Chairman of the Board and Dean of the Institute; Ms. Carmen Gharib, Head of the New Urban Communities Development Association, which owns the Institute; Engineer Alaa Abdullah, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Authority; besides several other board of directorate members and those who are interested in the educational affairs.
The meeting included the ratification of the previous session and a review of the implementation of the previous decisions. The agenda also addressed several topics related to the educational activities and academic programs. The Discussions focused on the mechanisms of the cooperation with the faculties of the Egyptian universities and training centers affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The aim is to train the students and burnish their technical skills, as well as to strengthen the partnerships with the major industrial companies. This collaboration is intended to enhance the efficiency of the educational process and prepare the students for the job market.
At the end of the meeting, the Governor stressed that the technological education represents a true path for the development, pointing out that the governorate is keen to enhance the partnership between the educational institutions and the industrial sector, in a way that Guarantees a graduated students who are practically and technologically qualified and able to meet the requirements of the labor market, saying: “Egypt’s students are its real wealth and investing in preparing them in the best way is a direct investment in building the future of the nation and achieving its progress.”
