Title:Al-Sharkia Executive Council discusses strategic files with economic and organizational dimensions, as well as investment plan projects for the fiscal year 2025/2026.

During his chairmanship of the Governorate Executive Council meeting, attended by council members, Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharqia, discussed strategic files with economic and organizational dimensions that directly impact citizens' daily lives. The aim was to assess implementation rates and expedite progress to improve the services provided to citizens.

Engineer Shaimaa Salah, Director of the Spatial Data Unit, reviewed the status of the spatial data system in the governorate during April. The system recorded 1,729,925 changes, representing a 98.61% implementation rate. Engineer Amira Obeid, Supervisor of the Technology Centers, also reviewed the status of reconciliation requests for certain building violations, in accordance with Law 187 of 2023 and its executive regulations, She further presented the status of the technology centers and the applications submitted by citizens during April. The technology centers received 185,389 applications, representing a 95.86% implementation rate.

For his part, Brigadier General Mahmoud Metwally, Director of the General Administration for the Protection of State Property, presented a detailed report on the status of property management at the governorate headquarters during April, He stated that 14,399 contracts were registered across various centers and cities within the governorate, representing a 98.97% implementation rate, This followed the completion of necessary inspection procedures, adjudication, down payment collection, and registration on the system, in accordance with established procedures.

Engineer Amira El-Shahat, Director of the Advertising Department, also addressed the advertising situation during April, noting that 27,086 advertisements were licensed and 390 illegal advertisements were removed, This was done to strengthen the advertising system, maximize state revenues, and improve the aesthetic appeal of the governorate's streets.

Engineer Wiam Abdel-Hakim, Director of the Public Establishments Licensing Center, reviewed the current status during April, indicating that a total of 6,046 licenses were issued.

Ms. Houria Abdullah, Director of the General Administration for Planning and Follow-up at the Governorate's General Office, reviewed the implementation status of the unified plan in the centers, cities, and districts. This plan encompasses programs in (transportation, roads, and communications; strengthening local and community services; environmental improvement; local administration and technical support; economic development; and urban and rural development).

She noted that the total allocations for the 2025/2026 fiscal year's investment plan amounted to 994,980,000 Egyptian pounds from the public treasury, in addition to 157,850,000 Egyptian pounds in self-financing, bringing the governorate's total investments to 1,152,830,000 Egyptian pounds.

Mr. Mohamed Gawhar, Director of the Budget Department at the General Diwan, presented the revenue collection status for city councils to date. This included collections from the general budget and special funds, the monthly target, actual collections, and collection rates.

The Governor emphasized the necessity of activating the role of revenue departments in every center, city, and district and ensuring full compliance with collecting all outstanding dues and arrears owed to the state.
