Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, affirmed that the reconciliation process for building violations is a top priority during the current period, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the instructions of Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development and Environment, to remove all the obstacles, simplify the procedures for citizens and expedite progress on this vital and important matter. He urged citizens who have not yet submitted the reconciliation requests to quickly visit the technological centers in their local units to submit the applications or complete previous files before the new deadline, in order to benefit from the facilities offered by the state and protect their properties.
For her part, Engineer Amira Obeid, supervisor of the technology centers, confirmed the smooth of the procedures for receiving the reconciliation requests at the technology centers located in various districts, cities and neighborhoods of the governorate. This is in accordance with the executive regulation of the new Reconciliation Law No. (187) of 2023. She noted that the applications were received from the citizens for the reconciliation regarding certain building violations during the period from May 7, 2024, to April 28, 2026.
The supervisor of the technology centers added that several services are provided at the technology centers according to the executive regulation of the new Reconciliation Law No. (187) of 2023.
The Governor had issued strict instructions to the heads of districts, cities and neighborhoods to continuously monitor the implementation rates of the reconciliation process, ensure that all facilities are provided to citizens, remove any obstacles and conduct field visits to monitor the real implementation. He also emphasized the need to intensify the work of the technical committees and expedite the process of the applications which are submitted by citizens.
