Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, extends his sincere congratulations to Major General Dr. Khaled Maghawer, Governor of North Sinai, on the occasion of the governorate's National Day, which falls on April 25th of each year.

This day commemorates the complete liberation of Sinai in 1982, the departure of the last occupying soldier, and the raising of the Egyptian flag over the last liberated inch of the city of Rafah.
