In accordance with the directives of Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, to the heads of centers, cities, and districts regarding the necessity of monitoring the implementation of ongoing projects, assessing progress, and removing any obstacles to expedite their completion and bring them into service for the benefit of citizens.

In this context, Mr. Ahmed Dahy, Head of Derb Negm Center and City, followed up on the completion of development work and the upgrading of internal streets by installing interlocking paving stones and paving, as part of the 2025/2026 investment plan, on streets branching off from the clinic street. This covers a total area of ​​10,120 square meters, with a completion rate of 45% and a financial cost of 5.5 million Egyptian pounds. This is all within the framework of the plan to develop and upgrade internal streets to improve the level of services provided to citizens.

Governor of Al-Sharkia affirmed that the governorate is proceeding steadily with the implementation of the development plan and upgrading the internal and secondary road network in various centers and cities of the governorate to open new traffic routes that will contribute to saving time and effort and providing comfort for citizens.
