Engineer Hazem Al-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharqia, emphasized the importance of promoting intellectual, physical, and psychological awareness and strengthening family bonds within a positive environment that reinforces values of cohesion and belonging to enhance the intellectual and social development of the family, This can be achieved through the implementation of diverse social and cultural initiatives and activities to integrate family members.
In this context, the Governor delegated Engineer/Lubna Abdel Aziz, the Deputy Governor, to attend the activities of the "Our Friday is Our Gathering" initiative, which launched today after Friday prayers at the "Mohamed Farid Khamis" Mosque square in the city of 10th of Ramadan. This is the third time the initiative has been held within the governorate.
The event was attended by Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Hamed, Undersecretary of the Directorate of Endowments in Sharqia; Brigadier General Ahmed Shaaban, the Governor's Military Advisor; Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim, Undersecretary of the Directorate of Youth and Sports for Sports Affairs; Dr. Omar Hegazy, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports for Sports Affairs; Engineer Ahmed Anan, Deputy Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Authority; Ms. Rania Hashish, Director of the Misr Public Library in Zagazig; Ms. Reham Ragab, Director of the Population Unit in Sharqia; and a number of children with disabilities and orphans from the governorate, along with a large gathering of families of various ages.
For her part, the Deputy Governor explained that this initiative is the first of its kind in the governorates of the Republic, and comes within the governorate's efforts to strengthen family ties in a positive environment, in implementation of the recommendations of the International Conference on Population, Health and Human Development, in support of the state's efforts to achieve social empowerment of the family, and to contribute to reaching the goals of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda
