Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia inaugurated the CT scan unit at Al-Qurain Central Hospital at an estimated cost of 14 million Egyptian pounds. This comes as part of the Ministry of Health and Population's efforts to support and develop the healthcare system and provide distinguished medical services to the hospital patients.

Dr. Ahmed El-Baily, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, reviewed the capabilities and services of the CT scan unit, explaining that it has been equipped with the latest modern medical equipment. The unit includes two rooms (a control room and a CT scanner room), enabling highly accurate medical examinations in a record time. This contributes in diagnosing faster and more accurate of various medical conditions and assists doctors in developing appropriate treatment plans.

The Undersecretary added that the unit includes a team of highly trained doctors and technicians, to ensure providing efficient and high-quality medical services, as a part of improving the level of the healthcare which is provided to citizens.
